DAY CARE PlayGroup
Dogs are innately curious and adorably goofy. At Tails Up, we give them plenty to learn, and be curious about when you’re at work!
Key socialisation phases (4 weeks – 14 weeks) and juvenile/adolescent phases (Until 1 – 2 years of age) are periods where dogs will benefit most from appropriate play and social interaction. We supervise play sessions, focusing on appropriate socialising with dogs of all sizes. Development of life saving dog social skills are key here.
For all pups including our adults and seniors, we also work through a curriculum involving positive exposures, foundational / maintenance exercises and prevention / impulse training to enrich your pup.

1. After 8am: Check in
Check-in + meet and greets with new and old friends!
2. Morning: Play time & Training
Careful observation to determine the best play mates in the group for optimal play time! Plus, foundational / maintenance/ prevention training depending on needs.
3. Play Break
Rest, essential for optimal cell growth!
Quiet zones optimal for sleepyheads.
4. Afternoon: The Great Outdoors
Outdoor Sensory Garden play for that important dose of sun + plenty of ball throwing, seeking, climbing and running!
Enrichment for enriched minds.

5. Before 6pm: Checkout
Physical checks for pups to go home!

Dogs and nature are best friends! We’ve specially developed a green space that is safe, hygienic and fun. There are unique sounds, smells and textures to excite the senses including in-house developed play equipment.

Step 1 Evaluation: Make an appointment for us to see if your pup and you are comfortable at Tails Up! Appointments can be made here.
Step 2 Fix a date: Fix a date minimally 3 days in advance for drop off.
- Up to date vaccination card
- Plenty of high value treats (i.e. treats that your dog loves even when faced with alot of fun!
- Secure harness/collar and leash. Double up your collar with a harness if your pup is skittish in new environments!
- If you have a shy pup, we recommend bringing a piece of clothing that smells like you to ease the transition!
All dogs, especially puppies and seniors must have updated core vaccinations. Alternatively, a titre test from an accredited vet will be accepted as well.
Respiratory Disease Complex (CIRDC) a.k.a. Kennel Cough is not mandatory but is highly recommended in social settings. We also recommend getting vaccinated if your dog is a senior or young pup that may be vulnerable to infectious diseases.
- Small bite sized, high value treats! So we can do some work here.
- No retractable leashes pls!
- If you have an anxious pup, we encourage a shirt/ piece of clothing with your scent.

Weekdays:
Self check-in is between after 8am. Self check-out is before 6pm.
- Early check-in from 730am is chargeable $15.
- Late check out from 6 – 630pm: $15. We close at 630pm! Late charges after 630pm are at $20 /15mins.

All dogs must go through a 1.5 hour evaluation before checking in. This is to evaluate if your pup and you are comfortable with the facility.
Evaluation bookings can be done here.
Booking slots are limited and are carefully scheduled to take into account your pups temperament, behaviour and size.
Cancellations can be made up to 3 days in advance so the slots can be release to other pups!
